eGames Uncovers
Liong: The Lost Amulets for Retail
LANGHORNE, Pa., October 8, 2009 – Casual games
publisher and developer eGames, Inc. (Pink Sheets: EGAM) announced a worldwide publishing
agreement with MixoGames today to distribute hidden object/tile matching hybrid
game Liong: The Lost Amulets to
retail stores beginning this November. A
unique combination of seek and find puzzles and mahjongg-based challenges, Liong: The Lost Amulets earned the top
sales rank position on over ten major online game portals in 2009.
“Liong: The
Lost Amulets joins the recently-announced Adventures of Robinson Crusoe to form a nice one-two punch for our
latest retail lineup,” said eGames Vice President, Sales and Marketing Rich
Siporin. “With its proven online sales
performance and unique combination of hidden object and tile-matching play, Liong: The Lost Amulets should help
maintain eGames’ strong retail momentum as we head into the holiday shopping
season.”
In Liong: The
Lost Amulets, players embark on a mystical journey to recover five missing
amulets, uncovering hidden clues and solving tile-matching puzzles along the
way. Multiple options and mini-games
provide expansive challenges, including hidden-object oriented Adventure Mode
and Traditional Mahjongg Mode. As a bonus,
the retail package also includes the full version of marble-popper Liong: The Dragon Dance.
“The newest sequel in the exotic Liong series, The Lost Amulets is a refreshing combination of ancient Oriental
and recent trendy games,” said MixoGames Director Attila Mikolics. “The new game experience is expanded by the
special top view aspect and the challenging varied tasks. The player can visit over
100 unique locations with more and more exciting levels and pleasant background
music.”
